At OBAKENG TRANSPORT & LOGISTICS, we operate based on an asset-light business model which means that transportation of extra loads or cargo is booked with subcontractors (carriers and haulers). They transport our customers’ goods to, from and between different locations, terminals and warehouses across SADC, enabling us to be close to our local markets while taking advantage of a global perspective and network. That way we secure the best possible service at highly competitive rates.
When OBAKENG TRANSPORT & LOGISTICS enters into agreements with suppliers who carry out services on behalf of the company, the suppliers become ambassadors because we are part of the same value chain. Therefore, we expect every supplier to share and live up to the same ethical standards that we hold ourselves to.
We are always looking for motivated subcontractors; both for international transport and regional distribution. Collaboration has always been part of our success; our partners are an integral part of the services we offer our customers.

- Bank Confirmation Letter
- GIT Insurance certificate (not older than 3 months)
- Fleet List in Excel Sheet
- Company registration certificate
- VAT certificate
Once your application is received, please allow 48-hours for processing. Once approved, we will confirm the details and your account number via email. You will then receive a daily update of loads available.
